Where the u.s cannot compete in manufacturing, it's the consumer that will hurt as they'll be the ones paying the tariffs.
roll on inflation, higher interest rates and weakening of the u.s dollar. Not to mention how that will affect allied countries like Australia that depend on trade with China. I don't see this as a good thing.
but countries with a strong manufacturing base like Vietnam sth Korea, Indonesia etc will be laughing
