U.S Graphite Trade Case

The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has issued a preliminary determination that China’s export of artificially cheap graphite is harming the American graphite industry. This supports the case filed by the American Active Anode Material Producers (AAAMP), which claims China’s trade practices, fueled by subsidies, have hindered domestic graphite production. AAAMP spokesperson Erik Olson stated, “Today is a win for the North American graphite industry. The ITC’s ruling validates the basis of our case: that China’s malicious trade practices are undercutting the ability of the domestic industry to grow.” Full Announcement below:
