Why take my comment out of context?

The line is a follow on from a comment relating to having lost so much that what remains is not worth selling at these levels.

If someone has lost belief a company and management team, and actually believes its going to continue to fall....it makes sense to exit, Take what ever capital you have and at least have a tax loss to write off from all your other successful investments.

This stock can still lose 90% from here, and then 90% again. So if people believe its in a death spiral, why wouldn't they sell?
