Couldn't agree more! Next time you are in a carpark or a traffic jam (in one of our comparatively tiny cities) try and fathom the amount of graphite required if a third or half of the cars EV's requiring a couple hundred kilos of graphite. Then think of the carparks and traffic jams in Tokyo, Mexico City, LA, Beijing, Mumbai etc etc!
Staggering quantities of critical minerals will be needed. To think the Chinese can heat up the required Pet Coke to 3000 degrees for 3 hours to make synthetic graphite to meet this demand is ridiculous. It will happen for us, lets hope it happens soon!
