As you can see the likes of EGR have a much higher cost despite been located in Africa. In fact, given that the Tanz Govt gets a free carry interest of 16% and EGR needs to fund 100% of costs, I would add another 16% to their cost for doing business in Tanz. This makes their cost north of $580 which is very unattractive and hence why the have not found financiers to fund the project over the last 10 years.
