    BYD just released its blade battery capable of 400km charging in 5 mins. Comparable to ICE refuelling time imo.

    It is utilising a graphite anode.

    Absolute game changer for range anxiety and EV down ramping. Not to mention the rapid growth of ESS. Grid storage solutions will outweigh EV demand imo.

    Graphite demand is going nowhere anytime this decade - at least.

    Solid state may be conquered at some point (it is definitely pie in the sky atm given the heat issues and expense) but I expect it to be an alternate offering to conventional lithium blend / graphite blend battery chemistries long term.

    RNU will shine in time. Watch this space.
