educated assumptions maybe a better term. TA is mostly about understanding how to identify patterns and trends to determine a likely outcome before choosing an action. Until it an outcome happens, it's just a speculation/gut/educated guess right?

From my experience, once you add emotions to trading, it all falls apart pretty b'ldy quickly. One other fella mentioned he normally places stop losses on his holdings but got "caught up" emotionally with RNU. TA is cut and dry to try and understand a likely outcome so you can place your bets on that. Similarly, choosing to do nothing as long as that's an active choice is also an action.

But IMHO, FA should be included in an investment choice. One of my early mistakes of forgetting that cost me heaps but it was a valuable lesson well learned.

This game must be emotionless and driven by logic. Think of it as buying an investment property that you'll never live in, just collect CG and rent. Your car choice is generally full of emotions right? In most cases you lose money buying a car, same happens when you invest through emotion.

Good luck in your journey mate and I apologize if I've ever given a contrarian view in a inconsiderate way. Please share your ideas without fear (to me at least).
