There are three main books:
1. Exploding the myths by Frank Watkins
2. Technical Analysis by Magee & Edwards
3. The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham

Watkins is a really easy-to-read introduction to the stock market. Magee & Edwards then becomes the dictionary or encylopedia to the stock market.

Graham is about longer term value investing - as in, your retirement ETFs (which everyone should have). For me, that is VAS and VGS - I add to these every year when I see value - and will NEVER sell.

You really need to read Watkins - I would say at least 3 or 4 times - then read Magee & Edwards at least once all the way through - and then use it is a reference guide for any / all situations that come up in the future. I've read Watkins at least 5 times through.
