Its amazing how prevalent the NIMBY crowd is in Australia. Though I do understand their trepidation. Sometimes the choice for location of large infrastructure projects is poorly chosen, especially given that we are not limited by space in this country.

On the one hand people complain about not having jobs and then on the other cry that they don't want factories or large office buildings to get built.

I feel the majority of the population in the country are their own worst enemy at times.

Any avenue we have to bringing manufacturing back needs to be explored if you ask me.
