US federal court blocks Trump from imposing sweeping tariffs
The result from the federal court is hardly shocking and was foreseen by many analysts.
Chicken Little has already stated that he will do want he wants. However, as indicated in the article, graphite tariffs are governed by a separate statute and the focus of "anti-dumping" investigations. Since anti-dumping is already covered by law in many trading nations, the courts did not investigate it and did not need to.
Currently, several nations, notably the US, are conducting anti-dumping investigations into Chinese graphite producers and graphite-related products. Investigations into this matter are still underway and are being conducted through the appropriate channels. Hence, why its taking time as they thoroughly investigate to get it right.
