Hi Windy, quite a stable govt in Tanzania and it also has international treaty obligations with the likes of the UK. It has also reformed it's mining sector and now quite correctly wants companies to get on with their projects within a reasonable time of being granted a licence.

EGR has recently been granted it's special mining licence, so no licence bid as you incorrectly state.

So doubt if Tanzania is going to nationalise it's resources but I do find the prejudice towards countries in Africa interesting. Highly likely that the incoming govt will be the current government.

But yes sovereign risk is higher than Australia. Though of course Australian companies generally face higher costs and many fail as they are unable to compete on world markets and shareholders tend to lose their holdings as part of what's called voluntary administration, with the Australian process giving creditors massive priority and the big players knowing how to take advantage. All risks I suppose.

Anyway good luck as RNU tries to find that price they need. Hopefully someone in the new world order will be willing to pay it.
