    Hi Bishkek, the 16% really only applies to profits/dividends as opposed to many Australian native title payments which are often as a royalty based on sales. You refer to it as payments for nothing, but at the end of the day the Govt owns the resource, so all part of the reform process I mentioned in an earlier post.

    On the Rockhampton facility they have decided in Tanzania mechanical shaping is the go with regional PSG purification near or in conjunction with anode/battery manufacturers. From a recent interview they did in Germany I got the impression the regional facilities could even be customer specific/partnered as all customers tend to have their own requirements and don't want to share, which got me wondering how the RNU facility will go with whatever process it uses, if it ever gets built that is.

    EGR do of course have an operational PQF facility in Perth.

    Dont know if operating costs in Australia were an issue but the main focus seemed to be to have operations in country with battery manufacturers, particularly under US IRA and also likely EU
