    I thinks that's correct.
    Governments across the world have realized just how important it is to have a constant, diversified and reliable network of supply. The US -China issues have only highlighted that requirement.
    Even though the US may have sorted out some issues out with China regarding the import of rare earths you get could bet London to a brick that the US government will be rapidly escalating their ability to source those rare earths from other countries. The Europeans will likely be on the same page knowing that at present China can weaponise their near total control of processed critical minerals when and if required.
    No government can justify relying solely on supply of anything considered critical from another country that may be turned off due to geo- politic issues.
    Concerning critical minerals the genie is out of the bottle and in my view there is no way to put it back so there will be a lot of companies sourcing them from countries other than China. This tariff war that Trump has initiated has only added fuel to this supply fire.
