"China heavily subsidises its critical minerals sector, covering 20 and 40 per cent of the total project costs for critical mineral mining and processing."

Interesting – Twenty and forty percent is significant. I don't believe those figures have been mentioned before and if so, we don't use them enough to describe China's unsustainable dominance. However, the way I read the statement suggests that 20% goes to mining and 40% goes to processing. Even if it is a clumsy sentence and just means between 20% and up to 40%, it demonstrates the level that the Chinese ruling party are prepared to go to suppress competition and what it has been costing their bottom line.

No wonder Renascor keep saying its unsustainable, as you can't keep that level of subsidy going indefinitely. Especially now with other economic pressures are in place for China to navigate. So, it's not hard to see that, Renascor will be highly competitive if not the most competitive large-scale project outside of China.

South Korea and Japan have the only well-established anode industry ex-China and are now showing signs of expanding on it now. And as they do their anode company’s must align their efforts to reduce reliance on Chinese suppliers and fortify a position in the global electric-vehicle battery market. Now that Renascor has secured all regulatory approvals, it will be a stand out.

Bring on the G7 summit this weekend. There are 100,000 tons up for grabs. Things could move fast.
