short answer is yes. The change RNU made to the distribution of flake sizes was specifically targeted at producing more of the larger flake size that steel producers need. From memory of will make up 22% of our concentrate production. It also sells for more, last time I looked it was about $1,000 a ton.
I recall reading somewhere that the reason for it being worth more was due to the big increase in synthetic production led to a reduction in supply of large flake graphite, apparently most/all synthetic is small flakes.
