I guess the calling the shots reference may have shades of arrogance though it wasn't intended that way but rather - RNU has a substantial in demand resource that the push for electrification requires in producing the currently in use battery technology and all the while not being dismissive for the resource's other uses.
Personally I'm a little hesitant at the thought of government involvement, as so often it may involve huge delays in project outcomes plus of course the underlying political agendas. Of course in time or in the process govts may change but don't usually go bust - companies on the other hand may.
In the end, who is really calling the shots - I believe I can say with certainty that it's never the little guys. AIMHO
