How green was my valley - emphasis on past tense. Land rehabilitation does take place, though that may depend on the requirement of the country and arrangements with the miner, but in the mining stage, everything in the way pretty much gets deccimated.
When one looks at a paint colour chart, one will find many shades of green. I guess in the mining space there are green and brown fields - the green ones often end up as brown.
I like brownies, but thus far never had a greenie.
