With over 2,000 Stocks on the ASX, I wonder if old mate posts about market crashes on all of them or just a select few ? Either way the Ignore function has been a blessing the past few months

Moving the conversation back to $RNU (Which is what this forum is all about at the end of the Day), the Graphite Thematic is showing all the signs of being a major story as the supply deficit is reached in 2022.




Over the past 7 days we have seen two Chinese EV / Anode heavyweights announce plans for large new facilities in China:
- Hunan Zhongke Electric (Market Cap of US$3.8 Billion) has announced plans for a 100,000tpa Battery Anode Facility; and
- BTR China (Owned by China Baoan Market Cap US$6 Billion) has announced plans for a 200,000tpa Battery Anode Facility.

The combined 300,000tpa capacity is large and gives an insight into how quickly the EV race is heating up, both facilities will require significant volumes of raw material feedstock (Flake + PSG).

With Graphite Mines in China currently shut for the winter olympics period, stockpiles are continuing to be drawn down. Raw material Pricing for graphite products is only heading in 1 direction.

The News and Information on a Macro level has all the same signals as what happened in the Lithium Sector in 2020. It is just a matter of time before the Deficit is reached, at which point the race for new producers to enter the market to fill the ever widening gap heats up !

Exciting times ahead for RNU over 2022 and beyond IMO !
