Shhhhh PC3, some don't like to hear the truth !

I can only speak from my experience in WA, but how right you are.

Take a Mine Closure Plan in WA for example (What you referred to as Rehab), in WA you have to submit a revision every 3 years in our great state. By the time DMIRS (State Mining Department) assess the damn thing and provide comments 12-18 months later, you are better off just waiting to your next revision to answer queries.

Old Sarah Young looking for cheap points following yesterdays court decision. I am surprised how many people in our society cannot absorb information they read or hear, process it and see it for what it really is. The ability to critically analyse is a lost trait !

In Western Australia, our Labor Government rolled out a similar initiative back in 2018 (Still being tweaked today) called "StreamLine WA". The main purpose was to remove or cut down duplication in getting approvals. I could talk for a while on the Pro's & Con's but overall I support removing duplication which does make the overall pathway quicker, but unlike what Sarah said it does not increase potential impact on the Environment !

I wonder if Sarah will have a crack at Labor in WA for not protecting the Environment LOL
