Sorry I couldn't disagree more. If you take that timeline as an indication, then the time between FID and construction beginning, not mining but commencement of construction, is at least 18 months. So you can probably add many more months onto that due to factors such as rising costs, delayed procurement of items, supply chain issues, etc. In addition, we have no idea when FID will be made.
So, from there we can extrapolate that we won't begin construction of the mine until at least early 2025 and that's if everything goes smoothly. No sure if I have ever seen a figure as to how long the mine/facility construction will take but probably anywhere between 6-18 months.
In short, you make no money while the product is in the ground. We have a mine life of over 40 years and if we don't get cracking then we'll get left behind. MOUs are all well and good but until we get the BAM and FID in place, offtakes and JVs will not eventuate.
