I'm confused. If you 'have a low buy price' I'll presume you bought lower than current price which means you bought in 2021. If you were so sure about 'the room', why didn't you sell 12 months ago for 30 cents or 6 months ago at 15. Obviously you didn't 'know the risks very well' at all... Don't do a post mortem changing your position with the benefit of hindsight. For the record, I'm a LTH and still believe we will come good (why I haven't sold), but I'll admit this has been a major kick in the guts of a 12 months for my RNU heavy portfolio. I don't mind informed posts with perspective - like yours, but don't pretend to be from a much more educated place
