Please correct me if I’m wrong but from what I read yesterdays announcement by the government was a clear statement that incentives / grants / subsidies etc will be detailed in the May budget and that “made in Australia” batteries were part of the broader picture. I also saw statements from opponents of the plan stating that it was unfair that “winners will be picked”. Unfair or not a battery made in Australia will require graphite that will need downstream processing for PSG. Is there one company in Australia more ready or ticks more boxes to fulfill this need than RNU. I think not and putting 2 plus 2 together isn’t it almost a forgone conclusion that RNU will benefit from the May budget. It would all tie in with the trips we’ve seen DC on with Albanese and the lack of statements of late.
