I am sceptical that the entirety of that $532m would go to RNU, the Government might not want to appear to be playing favourites. However, a significant portion is not out of the realm of possibility.
"The Government's support to Renascor Resources Limited (which had been announced in April 2024 to be a $185 million loan to fast-track the development of stage one of its Siviour Graphite Project) has been revised, with financial implications not disclosed due to commercial sensitivities."
Perhaps the NBS commitment is part of this revised loan statement?
I am certainly eager to understand where this is going.
