Here's an anecdote that reinforced to me the tremendous opportunity that ColoSTAT offers. Someone I know recently went through a colonoscopy process. Given their circumstances, their GP did not think it necessary, their specialist did, and on balance the person went with the specialist's opinion. Not the first colonoscopy they've done but for some reason this time around they reacted badly to the stuff that cleans you out, resulting in fairly violent vomiting and them being knocked sideways for a week. This only added to the stress of waiting for the results. As it happens, all clear. Wouldn't it have been good if the GP could have run a ColoSTAT test as input into the person making a decision about undergoing the colonoscopy in the first place.
Anyway, it is coming up to four months since Rhythm lodged their application with the TGA: now closer to the end than the start of the wait. Kyrgios got beaten in the quarters so not all fairy stories come true.
