The Band measures CBP intermittently throughout the day. The idea is to note the changes in CBP. But movement and flexing muscles, for example, means that it's difficult to get clean data. The current comparable product is the Aktiia Bracelet, which averages readings over 2 hour periods. It uses light too, but I think our Band also uses voltage, so maybe that is an additional complication. Also, we might be aiming to be more accurate than the Aktiia Bracelet. Note that Aktiia cannot be exposed "to intense sweat", but I'm not sure what our Band's operating parameters will be. Here's Aktiia's website:

No. It's relatively easy to make algorithms for CBP. But it is hard to get accurate arterial stiffness measurements.
