They still need to market the product as they are competing with some big names, even though their product may be far superior the market still needs to know why it is superior.
Big problem if they are trying to compete on both price and product differentials. If the market believes the product to be cheap, they will not trust the quality and abilities of the product. If apple and the likes of Garmin can sell their products with less functionality for $1,000 then CDX need to sell their product somewhere near that level or have a big marketing campaign to explain whey their product is better but costs less.

The tech is top class. I'm also not a big fan of the name "CardieX" and the overall marketing. This can easily change though. Here's another version of a logo that I whipped up in 5 minutes.
