AFAIK - the upper storage is the smaller of the two "tubs" at Kidston - so if they enlarged it, they could extend storage battery size - allowing for longer periods of discharge. We have access to water rights up there too - so if evaporation occurs and no rain - we can pay to top it up (from memory - EA would pay for this as an operational cost during the period of their lease...)
