At the AGM the Chairman explained that the output of first 50MW of solar ( KS1) belongs to the QLD Government for the next 20 years.  It is on a separate transmission line to what KS2 and KH2 will be on and therefore can't be used to pump the water.   It has to directly go into the grid.

One of the prime uses of KS2 is to pump water for KH2, but flexibility must also be built in for output of KS2 to also go directly to the grid if no water pumping is required at that point in time.
