Cool video - basically exactly what Genex is going to do.

They stated it cost $315 million for 2172 MW of capacity. That $315 million is about $1.87 billion adjusted for inflation from 1970 as stated in the video. So that is a cost of around 0.86 million per MW installed.

Genexs Facility is 250MW, so based on this cost per MW should cost around $215 million USD, so around $310 million AUD.

From most of the research reports, this seems in line with their expectations of around $300 - $350 million AUD CAPEX.

Interesting to see the cost of producing a facility like this hasn't changed much in almost 50 years!
