Our funding was originally secured in ARENA's existing budget, which was due for review/renewal next year. They have around $88mn remaining, although I'm unsure of whether this figure is inclusive or exclusive of the Genex allocation - https://arena.gov.au/funding/. ARENA receiving $1.4bn (announced yesterday) is very good for us going forward as we have an excellent relationship there. It certainly can't hurt the use of a significant weight of funding on one project, either.

As @Tinwins has mentioned above this funding comes at a cost - a wider change in the ARENA mandate to fund HELE coal upgrades, carbon capture and storage, and gas, which will change the conversation and types of projects funded.
