Recently bought a Sony 55 inch 200 Hertz LED TV. It's the shizzle. Pay the extra money to get 200hz. it's well worth it. Upgraded my Foxtel packgae to get the HD channels and I'm in another world of viewing pleasure.
I chose the Sony as I've always had Sony TV's and this one also has Gorilla Glass which is pretty hard to scratch.
Plasma apparently has a better quality picture but uses more electricity.
