With the addition of PTX to the very small list of companies approved by the FDA for Phase II trials, PTX will automatically go on the radar of hordes of professional companies and investors that focus exclusively on biotech opportunities for investment. One famous example most are probably aware of is Martin Shkreli, aka the Pharma Bro. He made $Billions in pharma before falling afoul of TPTB and they sent him to jail on a technical for mugging congress over health care hypocrisy.

So AI, algos, old hands and junior researchers all around the planet will see "PTX" pop up on this very short list and go, "hmm..., what up with this company?" And they'll parse through all the data with the company using the equivalent of an atomic, x-ray laser looking for red flags and explanations why it's such a market cap titch and frankly, the reasons they'll find will probably be more sophisticated than I can provide but I suspect the consensus will be a combination of poor jurisdiction (ex-USA), low capital base, future funding requirements and limited market size. All the ephemeral reasons that give a stock a huge potential gain in earnings.
The news only broke right at the tail end of this year in the doldrum period. Worst. timing. ever. Wait till they get back from their holidays in the Hamptons and fire up their PC's. 60% of companies that go into Phase II trails successfully make it to Phase III trials. That's considered bad odds but for investors? Compare that to how many countless miners go broke every year on the ASX. And none of them have the upside that a biotech like PTX has.
