Besides an excellent day's price/volume in EBR today, I got a surprise in my Inbox - the April Newsletter for EBR. Until recently I was unaware of this Newsletter, and subscribed after receiving an invite from the Company about a week ago. Perhaps many are already subscribed but in case you're not and you intend being a longer term shareholder I suggest it's a great additional source of interesting/relevant news about EBR and/or the WISE device.
In the April newsletter, apart from providing information that relates to recently released ASX announcements, there was some additional information that i believe is quite relevant wrt increasing positive news on the WISE device:
"Patient Spotlight
Our WiSE System has benefited many patients across Australia and the globe. We wanted to share the story of Monique Neu, a twenty-five-year-old who suffered from a crippling heart condition. Monique was the first Australian to be fitted with our ground-breaking WiSE System. We highly recommend watching this clip to learn more about EBR Systems and the positive impact our WiSE Systems has had on patients worldwide."
(Unfortunately I've not been able to copy a link- my IT skills aren't the best )
"Conferences
Last month we were fortunate to have our WiSE system feature in global conferences."
"We were pleased to feature in Professor Christian Butter’s session at the 89th Annual Meeting of the German Society for Cardiology in Mannheim, Germany. Prof Butter presented on the combination of different cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED) and recommended that WiSE implantation be used in cases where a patient requires a CRT upgrade."
"We were also fortunate to feature throughout several sessions at the recent annual meeting of the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) in Barcelona. During Professor Aldo Rinaldi’s session titled ‘Ultrasound Wireless Resynchronization: hype or hope?’, Prof Rinaldi shared an overview of published clinical studies using WiSE and discussed new clinical application of WiSE."
During EHRA, Professor Pascal Defaye also presented on the WiSE system during his session titled ‘Live-in-the-Box: LBB Area Pacing with Leadless LV Pacing’. Prof Defaye highlighted the advantages of WiSE from patient data including on the case of the first totally leadless LBBAP implant using WiSE & Micra VR."
Whilst I'd doubt that these Conference presentations would directly lead to the audience seeking investment in EBR (IMO most audience members are technical, not financially, motivated) any positive news on the WISE device surely adds further layers of credibility to the technology.
