I love the conspiracy theories flying around on Hot copper.
It is pretty clear that they hit the lower target and nothing was found. Check the last drilling announcement;

'At the level of the deeper secondary target the well did not contain hydrocarbons at this location. pancon will provide further details of the potential of the deeper play in due course'

pretty clear nothing was there, but perhaps they have learnt something from the geology. But I think anyone expecting an announcement of further findings in the lower target is dreaming..
