i would ask what plans they have for addressing the issues of a) water supply
b)infrastructure to move the coal
c) are they interested in developing a mine or just adding value to sell it on later.

of course c) is the key response.

d) what is their management set up for developing a mine given the technical skills shortage globally in the fields of mining, geology and engineering.

e) how do they deal with the SA Dept of Mines when applying for section 11 transfer of ownership of the prospecting rights. (they will duck this one)
