The majority of animals hunted up there are buck, springbok, kudu, a few sable, impala.
some guys have buffalo but the farms are pretty small for the biger animals. Some consolidate farms have elephant but these are for cameras not rifles.
The guys have problems with cheetahs. not many lions.
The vegetation is scrub, "bushveld/bosveld(afr)" and the pans are not so much salt as just seasonal water pans, they do fill up with water in the rainy season (now).
The section 11 issues are based on the fact that the change in mineral rights ownership in 2004 was designed to give the previuosly disadvantegd population (PDA) a share in the mineral wealth, however those targetted are now busy selling the "free" rights to all and sundry which is becoming a issue for the ruling party and there may be changes in legislation, but definitely attitudes
