Just saw the General Motors' add saying "We're here to stay". Ironic given what they did to their workers just before xmas. I read a while ago that GM was the 23rd biggest economy in the world, bigger than Saudi Arabia. I guess their jobs will now be in some third world county, their offices will be in New York, profits in Swiss bank accounts and their Aussie workers in Centrelink. So GM, you good corporate citizen what is here to stay? Your willingness to exploit nostalga for an icon that has dissapeared into your profit sheets?
