Being associated with Mercedes is validation and a great confidence booster or further announcements going forward (both with Mercedes and other majors). My favourite part of the clip was around the 8 min mark and to quote Chris:
”We think that the Mercedes-Benz deal will catalyse quiet a lot of the discussions with the pipeline that is not public and will result in more plants in the future. I think there is more than 250 gigafactories that will be in production in 2030. Each one of those will need a small plant of the size we are looking to build; 50 tonnes a day, which is the commercial one we are looking at building in Germany with studies finished mid-year”
