@Lundy it would be worth reading back a few pages here or catching up with some of the known announcements.
The TLDR version is though it means NMT only have to find 50% of the substantial upfront costs for these plants.
Also will likely get preferential treatment (in my opinion only), as far as install and equipment procurement for the plants as its in SMS's best interest to do so. This would likely include better pricing for that equipment. (again IMO)
The more of these plants they can roll out the better the profits so being first to market and aggressively expanding (cue HNR around europe) the better for shareholders. And who better to help that happen than one of the oldest most recognized plant builders in the world SMS group.
Hope that helps Lundy but has been discussed plenty of times over the last year or so if you go back through some of the threads.
There is definitely plusses and minuses to this agreement but i'd rather have 50% of the profit from 10 plants than 100% from 2.
I have trust in management that they are acting in our best interests until they do something that changes my opinion on that. Without inside info into all the agreements and enquiries about the tech on the table I think that's the question you have to ask yourself.
