I started to write this yesterday, before the market opened, but I ran out of time, so here goes.
At what price does the NMT MC get low enough where it becomes appealing to someone make an offer for the company.
The companies I am thinking could be the primary candidates:
MinRes ($14B AUD MC) - who is a partner of the ELi technologies and has their own operations and large customers, or
Glencore ($103B AUD MC) - who is an off take customer and the worlds largest mining company by revenues, also doing battery recycling (I believe Chris said this in one of his Crux interviews), and they also have their own projects and technologies, or
Someone else???
There are a number of patents, processes, technologies, contracts and other IP that would surely be valuable to these companies.
An acquirer could even cherry pick the parts they want and offload the rest.
I am not suggesting this will happen, but I am asking at what price do people think it becomes appealing, and what other companies would have good synergies?
