Can you link the whole article? As that short snippet isn't revealing anything of substance and seems to be suffering from a little confirmation Bias.

I would 100% agree with the quote but that sample area is probably going to be one of the last places to get on board with EV's for a good reason. Of course people in densely populated areas like cities with not far to travel are going to be earlier adopters because it makes more sense, most travel shorter distances and don't require spot lights and roo bars to make it home safely.

Its like living in a sandy desert saying no one is buying boats here so clearly no one anywhere likes boats.
