Melon ...may I remind you getting out of NVX was then an exercise which has been well worth while with considerable returns elsewhere. ..I will also remind you THE MAN WHO NEVER CHANGES HIS MIND NEVER CHANGES ANYTHING....When situations change one has to assess these changes and act accordingly..60% of what you buy works out well just as long as you cut your losses on the other 40% ...go read the historic Investment reports .Hanging on for hanging on sake is "not the way to make money" and Don't say WARREN BUFFETT hangs on ..I can assure you he has sold plenty of shares that didn't work and so have the many other successful investors such as Jesse Livermore ,Bernard Baruch ,Gerald Loeb ,Richard Wyckoff ,Jack Dreyfus ,William J O'neil .....and Jim Rappel ..and many other .Most long term holders on stocks that don't make a solid and rising profit loose money ..( See How legendary Traders made millions ...by John Boik) .There has been no profit yet on NMT from manufacturing or mining for years ..only a capital gain which has been for the most part spent....and so far NVX has as yet made no profits....I hold hope for NVX making a profit by late 2024...In NVX case "this is not a lifestyle company" and has the past proven success of the board members ....In the case of NVX the shares are still in a down trend and not quite ready to be purchased in size...but the Financials should Improve by the end of this year ..I will wait and watch and if the financials show the improvement I expect I will re-enter NVX and should it show progress I will build a sizeable position.
Yes as smart investors do .. I only buy further into a share slowly after I see progress from my first purchase ..my first entry into any share is a token amount of about $5000....I do not plunge in on any first buy ...no matter how good the share appears.
May I remind you " Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it...I try and learn from my mistakes...but unfortunately technical support platforms supported by good news as in the case of NMTs situation at about 19c..can break down...and not doing sufficient homework on Management is a fatal error..but repeating that error is Total stupidity...However there is a limit to every stupidity if you average down ..you can only average down to Zero!!!!
From your tone Melon you have been well stung with NMT...Tough luck...we've all lost money.
