Crabpest and all other readers ....I was apologising to everyone for my hasty judgement that the Mercedes deal would be an immediate company changer and the company would quickly move ahead..."I still believe it was a game changer" and it was an exceptional achievement by the executive to get it ...Passing Mercedes rigorous standards is a major achievement for any company ..let me make that very clear .. but I believed it didn't continue to justify the levels of executive salaries and benefits ..."An outside consultancy group specialising in Executive Salaries and Benefits should always be employed to objectively evaluate payments made to the senior executive of every public listed company. "
Many ships are run very well with or without changes in the Captain and the First Mate.
What I apologised for...to everybody ..was my lack of appreciation of "the extent" to which the executives were living on the hog with high salaries etc.
I didn't like these Salaries and benefits but was prepared to accept it hoping for a change...perhaps a Salary cut etc.Then came the World Tour ..well named ..No doubt an extensive swanning exercise in good living and high expenditure!!!!??...
So I left ... it was ,for me ,this final straw that broke the camel's back.
I made my apologies and explained my reason for leaving....further management gorging...but I did point out that "Many companies with Greedy people at the top have still been and still are very successful companies!!!!"
Further let me make it absolutely clear and let their be no doubt "Greedy management are not necessarily a Game Changer ..and Greed does not mean Incompetence....Greed simply means getting pay and benefits which appear excessive!!!!

I don't like Greedy management but history has shown they do not necessarily destroy good companies with successful products which can rise to very successful highs despite their Greedy Executive...(Please Consider the case of Elon Musk and Tesla????)
