In 2023 13% of MB 2,4 Mio sold cars were electric vihicles, as I read in the german news. These sales accumulate over the years. And there is still a connection to the asian conglomerate ITOCHU, which aslo is a customer of SMS.
So not everthing is doomed.

(ps: The problem at the moment is that in the so called west the Media Elite Military Industrial Complex wants war, that's why there is no money left for the average joes in Germany and Europe , there will be further cuts to social and environment projects to transfer the money into military spending (i.e 100 billion special debt for the Bundeswehr). Climate is no toppic any more in the German media. We spend all the money for military also thanks to the US Elite policy with their constant Russia fearmongering since decades. Just have a look at the german stock Rheinmetall, the biggest weapon producer in Germany., Nenas song is more up to date than ever, I prefer the german version but linked the english one here: )
