Thanks for posting cap.
I finally got the chance to have a proper listen ( albeit as i was falling asleep in bed) last night. Not too much stood out to me but a few points did.
Sign off on the spoke by Merc should be this quarter.. I originally thought it was this month but either way not a huge difference.
The bigger news which I'm not sure had been conveyed clearly before was that the spoke should be classed as commercial ready from the first half of the next year all things going to plan and the Hub in the back half of next year, meaning we are open to start taking orders. I'm not sure such an exact time estimate had been given before.... even though I know 6 month time periods are still quite nebulous, it still seems like progress to me.
Secondly it seemed like they are far more confident of the Vanadium plans going ahead albeit in a slightly different way than originally planned.
For those that haven't seen recently one catalyst for vanadium is the Chinese Steel market has just had a change come into effect on the 24th of September that mandates the use of higher percentages of vanadium in Rebar. Some analysts are predicting an estimated 15% rise in global consumption because of this.

Which has got to be good news for us.
A recent Money of Mine Interview with YJ Lee about the lithium market also suggest that analysists are not predicting enough supply of lithium to keep up with the battery demand of all the solar instillations planned globally for the next few years..... The other thing that is great and in most cases better suited to grid storage, Is Vanadium Redox Flow batteries. So hopefully that builds on the demand picture. (this is my inference not one that is made in the poddy)
This video should definitely be worth a watch for holders here just on the supply demand pictures in the market.
Lastly the one other thing that stood out to me Cap is that Chris basically Flat out said they aren't going to bother with LFP as the profits just aren't there. This has been alluded to in the past but it felt more definite to me in this interview.
They will instead look to processing Solid State battery's.
I have mixed feelings on this as cutting out LFP massively shrinks your total addressable market but at the same time if the margins are so slim I guess you'd rather have a smaller piece of the Fancy Pie than heaps of the cheap stuff, Especially in a downturn like now as you are better insulated from cost pressures. The thing I like about targeting the Solid state batteries instead is that they contain much higher quantities of lithium than standard Lithium ion batteries as they use lithium for the solid anode and have higher energy densities. The should also be potentially easier/safer to break down because of their inherent values.
If you google who is currently trying to bring solid state to market the likes of BMW, Toyota, Nissan, Stelantis, Volkswagen group, oh year and Merc.
In the meantime some good news for us and Merc who are planning on using NMC chemistries at least to start off with.

I'd still like to know what the price action of last week was about as there still hasn't been any news and the merc Sign off doesn't sound like it is Imminent. I can't see the Gold at Barrambie being any sort of catalyst like that... I hold Gold juniors that have $hitloads more gold in the ground and in a closer mining state that have barely moved on the Gold Price reaching the all time highs at the moment so I doubt that's it. Maybe something going on behind the scenes with some interest in taking those tenements off our hands anyway..... Either that or maybe we are due a 5% holding update any day.
At some stage if i have the time I'll have to have a look at cash in the kitty to see when a CR might be likely as if we aren't taking orders till mid next year at the earliest I have to leave it open for that to be a potential outcome if we don't get a sale of Barrambie. Id like to see my average far south of where it currently is but would be pissed if I pulled the trigger only to have the Cap raise bomb dropped on me in the next month or so.
When the share price was in the .06's while I was away it was starting to look very attractive ( to me at least) to take another bite and average down a fair way as it would have been cheap to double my holdings but then the SP doubled in a few days. I still think there is a lot to like here but we were definitely early to the party with the Market cap. My fault for being green and too optimistic.
Sorry this is a long rambling one with not much structure but I had a bit to catch up on after a few weeks off.
Good luck all. Hopefully Exciting times to come soon as being in single digits was getting very boring.
P.S. Cap it would be hard to see RIL doing anything significant before the Milestone mentioned above about Plant commercialization decisions. so interesting to see that moving the other day too.
