Agreed. Just not pre-judging causes or outcomes.
Yes - if the allegations are true, we are in a possible world of crap investment wise.
But it will take multiple court & regulatory investigations to sort it all out. And ASIC are not noted for their shining abilities, or speed.
At the very least Neo could have better advised us all of the full details of claims. But I guess they also have a responsibility to maintain confidence in the company, and may also have had confidentiality requirements. Until the court docs were released. Even then they may have had court issues that could have prevented addressing the claims openly.
I have no idea of the regulatory or legal penalties for such actions - if proven.
As you say - it does not look good.
