As mentioned previously, Neometals’ strategy is built around capital-light, IP-focused models such as the Primobius JV with SMS group and the ELi process. Value is expected to be realised through licensing, royalties and JV execution rather than traditional mining revenue. These structures often lead to major value shifts that are not necessarily preceded by insider trades.
It’s also worth noting that MD Chris Reed acquired 1,000,000 shares on-market in October 2024, increasing his total holding to around 1.5 percent of issued capital. Directors are also typically aligned through performance rights under the company’s incentive plan, which ties their upside to long-term outcomes.
Insider buying is one signal, but not the only one. When you look at partner calibre, balance sheet strength and how management has navigated this cycle, there’s more depth to the picture than share trades alone suggest.
