Just a thought
but
this morning I bought 10,000 shares in a company (not NMT) and the trade showed up as two trades,9,999 and the second trade 1 share. I know this was my trade as volume was very low in the first 10 minutes of trade and my confirmation came at 10.01am
Perhaps the broker had to get a share from another market maker?
