IMO the crisis with the magnesium supply drying up will stall the car making (and other industries) in its tracks. China has the world "by the balls" !!! Until they get through winter and increase power supply again, very little magnesium will be available. As we all know, magnesium is essential for blending with aluminium which will also be affected.
