You have put your finger on my one key question mark on NMT - i.e. the relationship with Critical Metals.

When I look at all of the deals/JV's that NMT have announced the metrics seem to be good for NMT. Everyone is bringing something to the table, sharing the costs of finance etc.and at the end will take a fair share of the ownership and profits (usually 50%).

The Critical Metals deal seams different to me. CM seem to have some knowledge and some relationships in the EU but do not seem to bringing any cash to the project. We are supplying the metallurgy IP AND financing everything and at the end of the day we end up with 50%. This seems asymmetrical to me.

I am not clear on the relationships between CM and NMT - do we have a cross shareholding? I don't think so. Do any of the Reed family have a cross shareholding? I hope not. If they do I don't remember ever reading about it. Perhaps someone else can set me straight on this.

Having said all that I think the Scandi - Vanadium project is a great project but I would have liked to see the ownership split better reflect the true value each party is bringing to the table and the risk. As it stands the deal seems to be a much better deal for CM than for NMT.
